Branding Flags

Each Branding Data entry includes the <flag> parameter, which categorizes the Ouronet Asset based on its credibility and status within the ecosystem. This parameter helps distinguish between established, reputable assets and those that may be unverified or high-risk, providing users with a quick reference to assess the asset's legitimacy.

Available Branding Flags:

  • <0> Flag = Golden Flag

    • Reserved exclusively for Demiourgos-managed Ouronet Asset IDs.

    • Represents the highest level of trust and official endorsement.

  • <1> Flag = Blue Flag

    • Premium status available for non-Demiourgos Ouronet Asset IDs.

    • This is the highest attainable flag for assets not managed by Demiourgos.

    • Can only be obtained by paying a monthly fee of 25 KDA.

    • Blue Flag assets receive priority treatment and are, in a way, vouched for by the Demiourgos team.

    • However, even if an asset qualifies for a Blue Flag, Demiourgos Administrators reserve the right to downgrade it to a Red Flag if deemed necessary. More on Red Flags below.

  • <2> Flag = Green Flag

    • Standard Flag for non-Demiourgos Ouronet Asset IDs.

    • Indicates that the asset has its branding set to live but has chosen not to upgrade to a Blue Flag.

    • This flag confirms that the asset has been properly branded, but does not imply premium status or priority treatment.

  • <3> Flag = Grey Flag

    • The default flag for newly issued Ouronet Assets that have not yet set up their branding data.

    • Assets marked with the Grey Flag are in the early stages and have not completed the necessary branding process.

  • <4> Flag = Red Flag

    • A Problem Flag indicating that the asset has been marked by Ouronet Administrators as potentially dangerous or involving scams.

    • While Ouronet’s significant KDA fees for issuing assets help prevent cheap scams, the system does not guarantee that no dangerous assets will emerge.

    • Red Flagged assets are excluded from the main explorer view and are instead listed in a special region of the explorer reserved for Red Flagged Assets. This helps protect users from potential threats.

    • Important Note: Although Red Flagged assets will not be subject to any administrative pause (they can still be moved freely as before), they will be listed separately in a designated management section of the DApp for monitoring and control.
